That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; Purnell Pond has it all. Golf can be played at Nassawango Country Club, and Fort whaley Campground is a good local campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Purnell Pond; Ragged Point Trail is a great local trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Pocomoke River State Park is a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Tilghman       Pond while you're here at Purnell Pond; it's nearby, and why not go to nearby Acquango Branch if you're here at Purnell Pond. Summertime at Purnell Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Purnell Pond. Looking for a fine trip? Assateague Island National Seashore is relatively next to Purnell Pond.
