Waldorf-Days Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Post Office Lake; West Trail is a perfect local trail. Post Office Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Aqua Land Campgrounds is a brilliant place to camp nearby; a journey to Fort Washington Park is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Waldorf; you can run the rapids of Anacostia River. Post Office Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture.
