If time allows, Greenbelt Park is a national park worth going to. This place, Pine Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Whitewater paddling is good on Anacostia River - Northwest Branch; close by you locate the Valley Trail which is a wonderful
hiking trail. Near Pine Lake you locate a golf course called Golf Course Register, and on a great day you can take a hike along the White Horse Trail. There's so much to do here at Pine Lake that you need to camp here for a while,
Cherry Hill Park is a great place for that, and Crowne Plaza Hotel WASHINGTON DC-SILVER SPRING is a great location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Scotts Cove Campground is a great location to do that; the Western Ridge Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
