After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Washington-Silver Spring,Md is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Burnt Mills Reservoir is one of those nearby. Pine Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Wheaton Regional Park Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's next to Pine       Lake; don't miss out on a spree to Greenbelt Park if you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Pine Lake; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Pine Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Cherry Hill Park is a                  magnificent site to camp nearby; if you need a site to stay Crowne Plaza Hotel WASHINGTON DC-SILVER SPRING is a delightful choice. Going for a hike along the Western Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Anacostia River - Northwest Branch. Stay the night at Scotts Cove Campground; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Valley Trail. Yeah, come here to Pine Lake for a great time. Hiking along the White Horse Trail is tremendous fun, and Golf Course Register is a golf course close by. People from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria love to come to Pine Lake.
