Peters Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at North Beach Campground is always a delightful experience, and Francis Scott Key Motel is a nice place to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Ocean City, and if you want to hit the beach, Little Egging Beach is close at hand. Summer at Peters Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, generally in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Peters Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. like Robins Marsh are fun to stop by. Assateague Island National Seashore is one of the destinations in close proximity to Peters Pond that are great to go to, and don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Cotter Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Ragged Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and taking a little tour to close by Cotter Cove is a good idea. Peters Pond gets a good deal of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture.
