It's always fun to stop by Otter Pond. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the vicinity of Otter Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boxes Point Trail, and camping at R J Campground is always a glorious experience. You're sure to run into some nice people from Baltimore-Towson here, and nothing beats kicking back at Gibson Island Beach.

| | Otter Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Otter Pond. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Herring Run; do take a hike on the Duck Inn Trail.

Otter Pond is a splendid site to stop at, and while you're here you must have a look at Adams Point. Otter Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year
is October. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Gunpowder Falls has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby; Magothy River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit.
This lake is so wonderful.
If you're looking for a beach in close proximity to Otter Pond, we recommend Severn Beach, and golf can be played at Bay Hills Golf Club. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Annapolis is a pleasant choice, and do take a look at Letha Ponds, it's a pretty lake.
