Lake Nirvana is a great site to visit for more than one day, New Hope Valley Campground is a great site to camp nearby, and the Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. TownePlace Suites Gaithersburg is a fine location to get some rest; Valley Mill Camp is a magnificent local campground. After a long day outdoors Oakwood Gaithersburg is a good site to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Potomac River for all you thrill seekers.

| | Lake Nirvana is a good location of common rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Nirvana, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lake Nirvana. Rich Branch is a great local stream, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Potomac Heritage | |

enjoyable stuff to do at Lake Nirvana, so little time. Enjoy a round of golf at Laytonsville Golf Course not far from Lake Nirvana, and not far from Lake Nirvana you'll discover Inspiration Lake which is a gorgeous lake. There are
some wonderful whitewater spots on Little Seneca Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Nirvana; Paw Paw Passage Trail is a brilliant local trail.
