Go to Lake Nirvana if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Laytonsville Golf Course is a great way to kill some time; Inspiration Lake Dam is a pretty location. From a rain point of view Lake Nirvana is a relatively normal place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. There are other spots here than Lake Nirvana, for example Lake Helene, and after a long day outdoors Towneplace Suites By Marriott Gaithersburg is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Throughout the months of summer at Lake Nirvana temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. winter nights at Lake Nirvana are in the 20's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Nirvana called the Paw Paw Passage Trail, and paddling on Little Seneca Creek
is so much fun. Going for a hike on the Meadow Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake Nirvana, you'll hit upon Inspiration Lake which is a delightful lake, and you can stay the night
at New Hope Valley Campground. Go for a hike on the Potomac Heritage Trail, and needless to say Rich Branch flows through this region. Dry warm beds await you at Oakwood Gaithersburg; Valley Mill Camp is a good campground nearby.
