This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Turkey Lodge Hill can be made out from New Germany Lake; if you need a place to stay Frostburg Days Inn is a glorious choice. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at New Germany Lake. The scenery at New Germany State Park Dam close to New Germany Lake is stunning; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Savage River.
