Beautiful Mountain Lake has much to offer visitors. An afternoon playing golf at Oakland Golf Club is always a joy. A glorious close by hotel is Canaan Valley Resort and Conf Ctr, and the slopes of Canaan Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Deep Creek near Mountain Lake, and do take a hike on the Boundary Trail.

the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Mountain Lake tend to be in the 10's. There's whitewater on Youghiogheny River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Wisp is a tremendous
local ski area.
Mountain Lake typically gets lots of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February.
