Chinquapin Run is in close proximity to Lake Montebello and is always a diversion to stop by, and if you're dropping by from Baltimore-Towson, you won't be the only one. Lake Montebello gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Patapsco Valley       State Park while you're here at Lake Montebello, and if you come at the right time of year, Herring Run offers some pleasant whitewater. There are some great whitewater spots on Jones Falls, and a tour to Lake Montebello wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Hall Spring. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Lake Montebello has it all. A round of golf at nearby Clifton Park Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time. Lakes?                  Sure, Lake (historical) Clifton is in the vicinity. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Lake Montebello, and Greenbelt Park is a wonderful place close by.
