A fine nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHESTERTOWN; you can go for a hike on the Duck Inn Trail. Millbrook Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. Stay the night at Bay Shore Campground, and there are some great whitewater spots on Winters Run. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Gunpowder Falls, and going for       a hike on the Boxes Point Trail is always a glorious adventure. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Millbrook Lake. There's some exciting stuff to see at Fairlee Lake Dam in the vicinity of Millbrook Lake; Millbrook Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Bay Country Campground is a good location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Stavley Pond in close proximity to Millbrook Lake. There                  are other places here than Millbrook Lake, for example Fairlee Lake, and one of the best things about this site is its proximity to Mitchell Bluff. At Millbrook Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Millbrook Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
