If you are traveling by, why not stop by Mill Pond. What a site this is for outdoors people. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Big Elk Creek. At Mill Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Mill Pond is in the vicinity of Riley Mill Pond Dam which is a beautiful place undeniably worth going to; if you came to camp Indian Acres Of Chesapeake Bay is a delightful place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Chestertown, and Northeast Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
