Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Mezick Ponds. A spree to Severn Beach right next door to Mezick Ponds is always a brilliant idea, and Quality Inn Annapolis is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Gibson Island Beach is near Mezick Ponds       and is a charming beach to stop at; if you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Otter Pond. You're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Easton here. On a good day at Mezick Ponds you can take a hike along the Boxes Point Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Ellendale Campground is a wonderful place to camp. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Mezick Ponds; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains                  the most; the driest of the months is October. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Annapolis MD is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Duck Inn Trail. Why not camp at R J Campground if you're here at Mezick Ponds; a fine location for whitewater paddling is Herring Run. This lake is so wonderful. Bay Hills Golf Club is a golf course next to Mezick Ponds, and Pleasant Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. At Mezick Ponds throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's.
