A visit to Meadow Run Lake is always a good idea. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Meadow Run Lake is excellent! Crab Run is a stream that you may come across while here, and if you're here at Meadow Run Lake it's a wonderful idea to stop at Little Meadows. The snow is delightful at Wisp, and Mason Dixon Campground is a tremendous local campground. During the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Meadow Run Lake. When the night sets in

| | temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Meadow Run Lake dip into the 10's.

can always go whitewater paddling on Savage River, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Wolf Swamp is right close by. Casselman River is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Meadow Run Lake; Meadow Run Dam has great water
scenery.
A day on the slopes of Hidden Valley is just what you need, and a perfect nearby hotel is Frostburg Days Inn. Here at Meadow Run Lake there are plenty of folks from Somerset, and Lease Hill can be seen from Meadow Run
Lake.
From a precipitation point of view Meadow Run Lake is a rather typical site; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
