Summertime at Lake Lynette comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are usually in the 30's while Lake Lynette night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Paddling on Potomac River is so much fun, and an interesting thing to visit in the vicinity of Lake Lynette is Inspiration Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need       more than a day to explore everything Lake Lynette has to offer, you can camp at New Hope Valley Campground; a great nearby hotel is Hilton Washington Dc North/Gaithersburg. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Seneca Creek; you can stay the night at Valley Mill Camp. Lakes are magnificent; Lake Helene is a lake that's right next door to Lake Lynette; if you're here you can take a hike along the Paw Paw Passage Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Laytonsville                  Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby, and obviously, this is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Inspiration Lake is a lake in the vicinity. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lake Lynette. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Lynette called the Potomac Heritage Trail; why not pop by close by Long Draught Branch if you're here at Lake Lynette.
