This lake is so wonderful. Lonaconing Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fox's Pizza Den is a great local campground, and do go to Midland-Gilmore Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. Just can't get enough of Lonaconing Reservoir. While you're here at Lonaconing Reservoir, you could also go to charming Barton Debris Basin, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,       we recommend New Creek. Camping at New Germany State Park is always a delightful experience, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Braddock Motor Inn is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lonaconing Reservoir is not far at all from Cumberland; do stop by Hill Run if you're here at Lonaconing Reservoir. While you're here at Lonaconing Reservoir you can play some golf at Fore Sisters Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Frostburg Days                  Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a fine view of Jackson Mountain from Lonaconing Reservoir, and there are some great whitewater spots on Georges Creek.
