During the warm days of summer highs here at Little Youghiogheny River Reservoir get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Little Youghiogheny River Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's.       This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Double G Campground while you're here at Little Youghiogheny River Reservoir; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Potomac River - North Branch. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you get bored of Little Youghiogheny River Reservoir, you could also pop by close by Mountain Lake, and a quick journey to Block Run is positively a magnificent idea. The slopes of Timberline are so inviting noone can resist,                  and a round of golf at nearby Evening Breeze Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Wisp, and a good view of gorgeous Bucks Knob is available. Get wet paddling on Youghiogheny River It's always great to stop by Boiling Spring. The high level of precipitation makes Little Youghiogheny River Reservoir a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
