Mount Nebo State Forest And Game Preserve is a fine local forest, and the Plantation Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Canaan Valley Resort and Conf Ctr is a great location to get some rest, and you acquire a great sight of Mount Nebo from here. What would winter be without some skiing at Wisp, and a round of golf at nearby Oakland Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. And that's not all       you can do here at Little Yok Number 1 Reservoir. The high level of rain makes Little Yok Number 1 Reservoir a reasonably wet place; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Little Yok Number 1 Reservoir is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Deep Creek Lake State Park is a fine place to camp nearby; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Lindy Run Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Little Yok Number 1 Reservoir fall into the 10's.
