High temperatures at Little Seneca Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 20's for Little Seneca Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Potomac River, and why not visit Churchill Town Sector Dam while you're here. The yearly rainfall here at Little Seneca       Lake is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Extended Stay America, and Catoctin Mountain Park is a delightful location nearby. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do close to Little Seneca Lake. There's whitewater on Bennett Creek for all you thrill seekers, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Meadow Trail.                  If you're here at Little Seneca Lake and you like golf, you can explore Little Bennett Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Seneca Lake has to offer, you can camp at New Hope Valley Campground. While you're here at Little Seneca Lake, you could also explore pretty Lake Churchill, and nearby you find the Potomac Heritage Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. On a magnificent day at Little Seneca Lake you can take a hike along the Paw Paw Passage Trail, and one of the overriding characteristics of the surroundings of Little Seneca Lake is Black Hill. Little Seneca Lake is a great place to camp, Little Bennett Regional Park is a great place. This lake is so wonderful.
