Lakes? Sure, Hines Ponds is close at hand, and Gibson Island Beach is a beach nearby that you can stop at. The amount of rainfall that falls at Letha Ponds is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Letha Ponds. A magnificent swamp       in close proximity to Letha Ponds is Hines Pond Bog. This lake is so wonderful. Patapsco River is right next door to Letha Ponds and is always a delight to go to, and Millersville Koa Kampground is a perfect campground nearby. Letha Ponds is right by the Boxes Point Trail, and don't forget to stop by Ashlar Pond if you're here. Hiking along the Duck Inn Trail is magnificent fun, and Comfort Inn Annapolis is a brilliant location to get some rest. I can't                  stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Letha Ponds. A splendid location for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Letha Ponds is Herring Run, and not far from Letha Ponds you'll locate Boyd Pond which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful people of Baltimore-Towson like to hang out close by, and Letha Ponds is a good location to visit for more than one day, R J Campground is a good location to camp nearby. A splendid place to check out near Letha Ponds is Rock Point Shoal, and Gunpowder Falls is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. A delightful close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Annapolis; playing golf is lots of fun at Bay Hills Golf Club. Throughout the summer at Letha Ponds highs are commonly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
