So much cool stuff to do at Lane Pond, so little time. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Lexington Park is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two; Blake Creek is very near and is a delightful place to go to. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lane Pond with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the       wintertime for Lane Pond tend to be in the 20's. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lane Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Visit Lane Creek while you're here at Lane Pond, and if you want to hit the beach, Lane Beach is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Lane Pond is not far at all from Lexington Park. This is a magnificent region for folks who like lakes.                  Evitts Pond is a lake nearby; camping is available at Take It Easy Campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Saint Marys Lake, and while you're here and you like golf, you can visit Breton Bay Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at LA Grande Estate Camping Resort if you're here at Lane Pond, and nearby you locate great sites like Herring Run Bar.
