There are other sites here than Lake Walker, for example Lake Whetstone, and don't forget to take a fine little trip to Beaverbrook. You absolutely must like Lake Walker. Take a hike on the Meadow Trail; if you need a location to stay Wyndham Garden Gaithersburg is a fine choice. Throughout       the long summer days at Lake Walker temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Lake Walker night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Laytonsville Golf Course is close at hand, and why not camp at Valley Mill Camp if you're here at Lake Walker. An average                  amount of rainfall falls at Lake Walker; May is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. Lake Walker is right by the Paw Paw Passage Trail; Holiday Inn GAITHERSBURG is a great spot to get some rest. Hiking along the Potomac Heritage Trail is nice fun. Little Seneca Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; Lake Walker Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful.
