If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maryland you can check out Lake Varnuna. Lake Varnuna gets a common amount of yearly rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Lake Varnuna you'll meet some folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria for sure, and Lake Placid Dam is a pretty place. At Lake Varnuna through the summer highs are in the 80's; during summer

| | nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Lake Varnuna during the winter typically dip into the 20's. Going for a hike on the Paw Paw Passage Trail is always a great adventure, and Towneplace Suites By Marriott Gaithersburg is a delightful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Laytonsville Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Lake Varnuna that you need to camp here for a while, Valley Mill Camp is a splendid spot for that, and since you might
be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Elysium Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Little Seneca Creek offers some good whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Meadow Trail. If you go for the
outdoors, you'll like Lake Varnuna. Lake Varnuna is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, New Hope Valley Campground is a pleasant local campground, and pleasant hiking is available along the Potomac Heritage Trail. After a
long day outdoors Oakwood Gaithersburg is a glorious site to spend a night or two; not far from Lake Varnuna you'll find Three Sisters Lakes which is a beautiful lake.
