paddling close to Lake Placid is Potomac River; Inspiration Lake is a delightful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Rich Branch, and Lake Placid is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Christopher Run Campground is a tremendous local campground.
