This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Greenbelt Park is a national park worth stopping at; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Jones Falls. Lake Montebello gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Through the warm days of summer here at Lake Montebello, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures       are in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Montebello. You could also stop by Lake Montebello since you're here at Lake Montebello; it's nearby, and Hopkins Inn Est.1911 is a great place to get some rest. Lake Montebello Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; why not camp at Timer Ridge since you're here at Lake Montebello. A short journey to Hall Spring is always                  worthwhile; Herring Run has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. There's some flowing water close by, Chinquapin Run is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Clifton Park Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake (historical) Clifton is in the neighborhood of Lake Montebello, and Patapsco Valley State Park is a magnificent local campground. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Montebello.
