You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Montebello has to offer, you can camp at Patapsco Valley State Park, and why not explore Lake Montebello Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Chinquapin Run is a tremendous local stream; Greenbelt Park is a tremendous national park. At Lake Montebello all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down       to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Lake Montebello overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Montebello is a place with many visitors from Baltimore-Towson; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Jones Falls. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake Montebello; May is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at                  Hopkins Inn Est.1911; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Lake Montebello. If you come at the right time of year, Herring Run offers some fine whitewater, and you can stay the night at Timer Ridge. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Montebello.
