Double G Campground is a nice campground nearby, and a forest nearby is Savage River State Forest. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hidden Valley while you're here; getting to Tarkiln Run from Lake Louise is simple. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you come at the right time of year, Casselman River - North Branch offers some great whitewater,       and if you've had enough of Lake Louise, Lake Heritage is close by. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Louise a wet location; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month of the year is February. Throughout the warm months at Lake Louise highs are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the                  winter at Lake Louise temperatures sink to the 10's. What would winter be without some skiing at Wisp; Lake Louise Dam is a location that is close to Lake Louise. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wisp Resort, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Casselman River.
