Go to Lake Lanahan if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Big Flat Trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Silas Trail. Lake Lanahan gets a normal amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop by close by Cacapon River since you're here at Lake Lanahan, and while you're here, you might as well pop by Long Hollow.

There are other places here than Lake Lanahan, for example Lake Edward Elliote Jenkins, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sideling Hill Creek.

the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Lanahan while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Lanahan temperatures descend
to the 10's. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Lanahan, so little time. The Gabriel Trail offers hiking at its best; if you're dropping by from Winchester, you won't be the only one.
