This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Lake Koshare is Swallow Falls State Park, and since you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Oakland Golf Club. Skiing at Wisp is one of those things you just have to do; there are other spots here than Lake Koshare, for example Lake Koshare. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Koshare. Very fine water scenery is available       at McComas Dam near Lake Koshare, and Glade Run is close to Lake Koshare and is always a diversion to take a look at. From a precipitation point of view Lake Koshare is a rather common place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the driest month. Paddling on Youghiogheny River is so much fun. Herrington Manor Recreation Area Reservoir is a perfect lake in the neighborhood of Lake Koshare, and tremendous skiing awaits                  you at Canaan Valley. For the duration of the warm months at Lake Koshare temperatures are commonly in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake Koshare. After a long day outdoors Wisp Resort is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and nearby you'll locate a wooded vicinity called Swallow Falls State Forest. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Muddy Creek, and going for a hike on the Boundary Trail is always a glorious adventure.
