Beautiful Lake Koshare has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Muddy Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. At Lake Koshare during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Lake Koshare throughout the wintertime generally

| | drop into the 10's. Swallow Falls State Park is a great local campground, and Wisp Resort is a brilliant spot to get some rest.
Near Lake Koshare you discover a golf course called Oakland Golf Club, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wisp is quite near. Having a nice time at Lake Koshare is easy. River. Very tremendous water scenery is available at McComas Dam next to Lake Koshare; a lake nearby is Lake Koshare.
Lake Koshare is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Camp Sunrise Mountain is a nice place to camp nearby,
and after a long day outdoors Canaan Valley Resort and Conf Ctr is a fine place to spend a night or two. A typical amount of rain falls here at Lake Koshare; July is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Canaan Valley is a perfect local ski area, and the trees of Swallow Falls State Forest are a great source of shade on hot summer days.
