There's so much to do here at Lake Hashawha that you need to camp here for a while, Ramblin Pines is a great spot for that. High temperatures at Lake Hashawha all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Hashawha dipping down into the 10's during winter       nights. The high level of rain makes Lake Hashawha a quite wet place; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February is when it's the driest. A splendid nearby hotel is Days Inn Westminster, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Westminster Catering & Conference Ctr. is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Hashawha is not the only location nearby, Black and Decker Manufacturing Company Reservoir is a nearby lake, and at Black and Decker                  Manufacturing Company Dam close to Lake Hashawha there are some attention-grabbing things to see. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Lake Hashawha has it all. You could also go to Westminster Community Pond while you're here at Lake Hashawha; it's close by, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Gunpowder Falls. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bear Branch, and if you come at the right time of year, Patapsco River - South Branch offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
