It's always fun to stop by Lake Halcyon. The yearly rain here at Lake Halcyon is about average; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. There are plenty of people from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria here at Lake Halcyon, and why not pop by Lake Placid Dam while you're here.

This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at New Hope Valley Campground since you're here at Lake Halcyon, and nice hiking is available along the Meadow Trail. This
lake is so wonderful. Oakwood Gaithersburg is a glorious spot to get some rest, and do check out Lake Eisen, it's a scenic lake. Little Seneca Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Lake Halcyon, and after a long day outdoors
Towneplace Suites By Marriott Gaithersburg is a magnificent location to spend a night or two.
Camping is available at Valley Mill Camp, and there's tremendous hiking along the Potomac Heritage Trail.
