Wigfield Trail
 | As a Wigfield it amused me that there is a trail out there with my name on it ;-). Since this is too far from where I live I believe once the weather get nicer I'll have to go hike it. You all can feel free to check out my website at http://wigfield.org , I do have some nice outdoor pictures online. Especially along the C&O Canal towpath.... |
Wills Creek
 | 1 PHOTO Drive a another mile until you cross the rail tracks and make a quick left down a dirt rd that follows the rail track. Follow 200yrd until you reach the train observation deck and park here. Cross the tracks and look at the wounderful 3 shelf drop. If you would like to run it, head right down throught trail above fall. Start river right and work to left as you exit last shelf. watch the nice keeper and the bottem left at very high water.... Water between fairhope and hyndman is full of bolders and water depths drop a lot in summer months. i advice that rafting should be done in the spring.... |

Our rates are per family unit (family of 5 or so) and our sites are so large (3000 square feet) that 2 families can enjoy camping together on a tent site. Electric sites on the river's edge allow one RV to be backed in and the other RV unit to be pulled in (door to door facing each other) and share a fire ring and picnic table! The back in sites and pull through sites are for single RVs only. You can be next to friends if you'd like.
