Lake Claire gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Don't leave Lake Claire without first going for a hike along the Boxes Point Trail, and Adams Point is very near and is a tremendous place to stop at. Be careful coming to Lake Claire, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a spot to stay Quality Inn       is a nice choice; why not camp at R J Campground if you're here at Lake Claire. Throughout the summer highs here at Lake Claire reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Lake Claire. There are tremendous spots to look at along the Duck Inn Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Herring Run.                  This lake is so wonderful. Bay Hills Golf Club is a fine golf course close by, and do check out Cat Branch if you're here at Lake Claire. Super 8 Motel - Annapolis is a great place to get some rest, and Gunpowder Falls has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Gibson Island Beach since you're here at Lake Claire, and camping is available at Millersville Koa Kampground.
