This lake is so wonderful. Lake Koshare is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Sunrise Mountain is a tremendous local campground. So much exciting stuff to do here at Lake Koshare, too good to be true. and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Koshare; Boundary Trail is a wonderful local trail.
Summertime highs at Lake Koshare generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Highs all through
the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Koshare. Paddling on Muddy Creek is so much fun, and an afternoon playing golf at Oakland Golf Club is always a pleasure. This lake is
so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Youghiogheny River. There's so much to do here at Lake Koshare that you need to camp here for a while, Swallow Falls State Park is a magnificent place for that.
