The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Jones Pond. There's so much to do here at Jones Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Woodlawn Camp Ground is a brilliant site for that, and do visit Parker Pond, it's a beautiful       lake. This lake is so wonderful. Jones Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Lowes Lakeview Campground is a nice local campground; dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Salisbury, MD. The high level of rainfall makes Jones Pond a quite wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Golf can be played at                  Horse Bridge Golf Course. Parker Pond Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and Sleep Inn Salisbury is a fine place to get some rest.
