I have passed the Lake many times on my way to Gettysburg. I plan on visiting this weekend for the first time.

Drove into this area while on my honeymoon 12 years ago. BEAUTIFUL!I have been visiting yearly since then. More crowded now, I guess beautiful areas don't stay unseen for long.A group of us will be there early tomorrow morning.

Hunting Creek Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you need a place to stay Carroll Valley Resort is a splendid choice, and Catoctin Mountain Park is one of the destinations that are brilliant to take a look at close by. Don't leave Hunting Creek Lake without first paying a visit to Cunningham Falls, and Hunting Creek Dam has good water scenery. So much amusing stuff near Hunting Creek Lake, truly tremendous. Hunting Creek Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Here at Hunting Creek Lake you can catch a glimpse of Bobs Hill, and get wet paddling on Owens Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to pop by some interesting stuff, pop by Wolf Rock, and why not camp at William Houck Campground while you're here at Hunting Creek Lake.

lake is so wonderful. Bear Branch is right next door to Hunting Creek Lake and is always a pleasure to stop by, and Hunting Creek Lake is right by the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail. For the duration of the warm months here at Hunting
Creek Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hunting Creek Lake are in the 10's. Having a glorious time at Hunting
Creek Lake is uncomplicated. There are plenty of folks from Gettysburg here at Hunting Creek Lake; Ski Liberty is a very popular ski area around here.
Camping is available at Cunningham Falls State Park, and you can have a great
hiking adventure along the Spiderbush Nature Trail. Whitewater paddling is fine on Hunting Creek, and hiking along the High Rock Nature Trail is delightful fun.
