Canaan Valley is a delightful site to do that, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Muddy Creek. Throughout the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lake Herrington while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's while Lake Herrington overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
