If you are traveling by, why not stop by Greenbriar Lake. A good close by hotel is Hagerstown Hotel and Convention Center; you can stay the night at Gambrill State Park. Comfort Suites Hagerstown is a splendid location to get some rest, and close by you come across the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. On a pretty day you obtain a vista of Bartman Hill from Greenbriar Lake, and the Snavelys Ford Trail is a fine hiking trail

This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Beaver Creek Country Club not far from Greenbriar Lake. You definitely ought to like Greenbriar Lake. Soar down the rapids of Beaver Creek in a kayak, and there are plenty of folks from Hagerstown-Martinsburg here at Greenbriar Lake. At Greenbriar Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; after the sun
is down during the wintertime temperatures at Greenbriar Lake drop into the 10's. Greenbriar Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; May is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake
is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Antietam Creek, and the vistas at Catoctin Mountain Park will blow your mind.
