The snow is good at Ski Liberty. Near Greenbriar Lake you stumble on a golf course called Beaver Creek Country Club; a lovely lake like Bond Farm Pond is a great spot to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Greenbriar Lake that you need to camp here for       a while, South Mountain Campground is a fine place for that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Snavelys Ford Trail. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Greenbriar Lake has it all. If you haven’t been to Catoctin Mountain Park, you should schedule some time for it while you're here; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Hagerstown-Martinsburg. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Appalachian National                  Scenic Trail, and Boonsboro Reservoir is a delightful lake close by. The yearly precipitation here at Greenbriar Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is January. A fine close by hotel is Hagerstown Hotel and Convention Center, and whitewater paddling is good on Antietam Creek. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Beaver Creek, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Hagerstown is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. All through the months of summer here at Greenbriar Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
