All the water falling down from the sky makes Green Holly Pond a wet spot; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is December. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn Lexington Park Patuxent River Naval Air Station is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and it's a wonderful       idea to stop at Mill Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Green Holly Pond. For you golfers we recommend close by Chesapeake Hills Golf Club, and if you came for an overnight stay Take It Easy Campground is a good place to camp. Looking for something right next door to Green Holly Pond? Lake Vista is around here, and Turkey Bar is another brilliant spot to go to close by. High temperatures at Green Holly Pond through the months                  of summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
