There are fine locations to explore along the South Trail, and Jameson Dam has great water scenery. Gilbert Pond gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. Near Gilbert Pond you stumble on the Left Trail which       is a great hiking trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Smoots Pond. During the summer highs here at Gilbert Pond get into the 80's; the night is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Gilbert Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a nice tour?
