Beautiful Gibbs Pond has much to offer visitors. If time allows, Assateague Island National Seashore is a national park worth taking a look at, and there are plenty of people from Ocean Pines here at Gibbs Pond. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Ocean City is a glorious choice, and on a lovely day you can visit Great Egging Beach. Camping at Bayside Campground is always a tremendous experience, and Little Egging Beach is a wonderful beach to check out.

Beach Campground, and if you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Bay Club Golf Course. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Gibbs Pond called the Ragged Point Trail, and the scenery at Dutch Harbor is pretty. This
lake is so wonderful. Not far from Gibbs Pond you hit upon Green Point; if you get bored of Gibbs Pond you could also have a look at nearby Buddy Pond.
Gibbs Pond usually gets a large amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is April.
