This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Blackhole Creek Bog close to Fresh Pond make for great sites to visit; there's good hiking along the Boxes Point Trail. A glorious nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Annapolis, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fresh Pond; Duck Inn Trail is a magnificent local trail. But wait, there's more to do near       Fresh Pond. Paddling on Herring Run is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Fresh Pond that you need to camp here for a while, R J Campground is a great place for that. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fresh Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Fresh Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Golf can be played at Bay Hills Golf                  Club; Fresh Pond is a spot with many visitors from Baltimore-Towson. This lake is so wonderful. If you're looking for a beach close to Fresh Pond, we recommend Gibson Island Beach, of course you could also check out Park Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Soar down the rapids of Gwynns Falls in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Annapolis MD is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Looking for something in the neighborhood of Fresh Pond? Cooks Pond is around here, and taking a little trip to nearby Broad Creek is a magnificent idea. From a rain point of view Fresh Pond is a relatively common spot; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest month is October.
