In Maryland there are many beautiful lakes, Elysium Lake is one of them. Throughout the warm months at Elysium Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Elysium Lake tend to be in the 20's. For you golfers we recommend close by Laytonsville Golf Course, and the Meadow Trail offers hiking at its best. Why not take a refreshing

This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Elysium Lake is New Hope Valley Campground, and Elysium Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Valley Mill Camp is a wonderful local campground. Lake Placid Dam while you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Elysium Lake; Paw Paw Passage Trail is a fine local trail. Towneplace Suites By Marriott Gaithersburg is a good place to get some rest, and during your
visit here you'll meet some folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria for sure.
This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place for whitewater paddling right next door to Elysium Lake is Potomac River, and you're probably hooked on
lakes, Three Sisters Lakes is one of those nearby. From a rain point of view Elysium Lake is a pretty common spot; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest
month.
Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Little Seneca Creek, and after a long day outdoors Oakwood Gaithersburg is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
