This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Rock Nature Trail. There's so much to do here at Edgemont Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Farm Campground is a brilliant spot for that. This lake is so wonderful.       Warners Gap Hollow Dam is a beautiful spot near Edgemont Reservoir, and Harman Gap is a great location to spend some time. This place is unbeatable, just look at all the fun things to do near Edgemont Reservoir. The friendly folks of Chambersburg like to hang out close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Antietam Creek - East Branch offers some great whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Middle                  creek, of course you could also explore Hagerstown Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Edgemont Reservoir and you like golf, you can explore Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course; Edgemont Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Catoctin Quaker Camp is a great local campground. Edgemont Reservoir gets a typical amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Ski Liberty, and there's some flowing water close by, Edgemont Creek is a stream you can explore while here. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Waynesboro is a perfect location to spend a night or two; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Thurmont. Any time is a great time at Edgemont Reservoir if you like the outdoors. Buzzard Knob can be seen from Edgemont Reservoir; do take a hike on the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail. Barth Spring is a pleasant local attraction, and Catoctin Mountain Park is a very wonderful location to go to. Summertime at Edgemont Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
