Beautiful Edgemont Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Edgemont Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at; you can run the rapids of Middle creek. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Liberty is in the neighborhood of Edgemont Reservoir, and Edgemont Reservoir is not far at all from Chambersburg.

| | Reservoir is pretty; Harman Gap is another good spot to pop by close by. Any time is a magnificent time at Edgemont Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. On a fine day at Edgemont Reservoir you can take a hike along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail, and Barth Spring is always fun to check out. Dry warm beds await you at Thurmont Super 8 Motel, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the High Rock Nature Trail.

You'll need more than a day to explore everything Edgemont Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Catoctin Quaker Camp; since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Waynesboro Municipal Golf Course. Edgemont Reservoir
gets a normal amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during May, and January on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Edgemont Reservoir. Once the sun is down it plunges down
to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Edgemont Reservoir.
Buzzard Knob is clearly visible from Edgemont Reservoir, and visiting Catoctin Mountain Park is just something
you need to do if you haven't yet. Edgemont Reservoir is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Mountain Farm Campground is a fine site to camp nearby; get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Antietam Creek - East Branch.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Waynesboro is a great spot to spend a night or two; going for a hike along the Spiderbush Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
