Do stop by Dorchester Lake while you're in this part of Maryland. Throughout the summer highs here at Dorchester Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Dorchester Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Four Mile Run for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and you can go for a hike on the South Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to have

| | a good time. Dorchester Lake is a place with many visitors from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, and if you came to camp Cedarville State Park is a nice location to do that.

Park is a brilliant local campground; a glorious nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - WALDORF.
This lake is so wonderful. Fort Washington Park is a perfect local destination here at Dorchester Lake, and going for a hike on the West
Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There are nice places to discover along the Panhandle Trail. Lakes? Sure, Angler Lake is in close proximity. From a rainfall point of view Dorchester Lake is a pretty normal place; most of
the rain falls all through August; February on the other hand is the driest.
There are other sites here than Dorchester Lake, for example Cat Pond, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Anacostia River.
