Do stop by Dorchester Lake while you're in this part of Maryland. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Four Mile Run, and White Plains Park & Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Fort Washington Park is a national park worth taking a look at, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Angler Lake. So many exciting things to do at Dorchester Lake, so little time.
