    In Maryland there are many beautiful lakes, Damazo Pond is one of them. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Damazo Pond. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Catoctin Creek; you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Lake Quigley. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and if you came to camp Brunswick Camp Site is a magnificent place to do that. For the period of the summertime months, highs generally are  
   in the 80's at Damazo Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Damazo Pond.
Damazo Pond is a good place of common rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. There's so much to do here at Damazo Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Maple Tree Campground is a splendid place for that, and if you
 
               need a spot to stay Green Country Inn is a great choice. Catoctin Mountain Park is a very splendid place to stop by next to Damazo Pond, and Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is a fine location to get some rest.
Damazo Pond Dam is a place that is in close proximity to Damazo Pond, and the skiing at Ski Liberty is pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. Yourtee Spring is a tremendous local attraction; you'll meet a lot of folks from Hagerstown-Martinsburg here.
In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Potomac River, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not have a look at Lowry Lake.

I loved Ski Liberty when I stayed there a few years ago for a weekend. It was the most fun I've ever had at a ski area. There was a great snow storm while we were there and the conditions were awesome. I'm coming back this year with my children and look forward to sharing your mountain with them....
