After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Frederick is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Liberty. Summertime highs at Culler Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Culler Lake are in the 20's.       Glide down the rapids of Bennett Creek in a kayak, and a journey to Catoctin Mountain Park is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Culler Lake you can take a hike along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail, needless to say you could also check out Lily Pons Fish Ponds since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Middle creek offers some good whitewater, and a glorious nearby                  hotel is Best Western Historic Frederick. If the weather is great here at Culler Lake, you can go for a hike along the High Rock Nature Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Worthington Manor Golf Club. Culler Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Rock Creek is a delightful stream that is worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Culler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ole Mink Farm Campground is a wonderful place for that. On a great day at Culler Lake you can take a hike along the Spiderbush Nature Trail. From a rain point of view Culler Lake is a pretty typical spot; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
