Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Cooleys Pond. If you're looking for a beach in close proximity to Cooleys Pond, we recommend Severn Beach, and a great nearby hotel is Quality Inn. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Throughout the summer months highs here at Cooleys Pond reach the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. During the winter the       highs are generally in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cooleys Pond descend into the 20's. While you're here at Cooleys Pond you will meet lots of people from close by Baltimore-Towson; Adams Point is in the vicinity and always nice to check out. Don't leave Cooleys Pond without first going for a hike along the Duck Inn Trail, and hey, Magothy River is a fine local stream. There's so much to do here at Cooleys Pond that                  you need to camp here for a while, R J Campground is a magnificent place for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Herring Run offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Gibson Island Beach; you can stay the night at Millersville Koa Kampground. This is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes. Letha Ponds is a lake around here; there are some good whitewater spots on Gunpowder Falls. There are tremendous sites to explore along the Boxes Point Trail; Bay Hills Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Claire is right next door to Cooleys Pond, and Super 8 Motel - Annapolis is a fine location to get some rest.
