You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Chevy Chase Lake has to offer. If time allows, Catoctin Mountain       Park is a national park worth a visit, and Valley Mill Camp is a wonderful local campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chevy Chase Lake; Potomac Heritage Trail is a fine local trail; if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Frederick is a brilliant choice. All through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Chevy Chase Lake. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's.
