A visit to Chevy Chase Lake is always a good idea. If the weather is nice here at Chevy Chase Lake, you can go for a hike along the Potomac Heritage Trail, and glide down the rapids of Bennett Creek in a kayak. Camping at New Hope Valley Campground is always a wonderful experience, and great skiing awaits you at Ski Liberty. Camping is available at Valley Mill Camp, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Urbana Dam.

This place, Chevy Chase Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. It's a great
idea to stop by Fahrney Branch, it's right next door to Chevy Chase Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Potomac River offers some good whitewater. While you're here at Chevy Chase Lake you can take a hike along the Meadow
Trail, and a round of golf at nearby PB Dye Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time.
Chevy Chase Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest.
