Be careful coming to Carroll Pond, you might not ever wanna return home again. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Carroll Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Point Lookout State Park is a fine place for that, and if you need a site to stay Fairfield Inn Lexington Park Patuxent River Naval Air Station is a nice choice. There are other       places here than Carroll Pond, for example Page Pond, and a pleasant beach close by is Saint Jerome Beach. Carroll Pond generally gets a large amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is December. All through the warm days of summer here at Carroll Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly                  in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Carroll Pond descend into the 20's.
