Throughout the summertime months at Burnt Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Burnt Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Burnt Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Woodlawn Camp Ground is a good local campground,       and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Salisbury Plaza. An afternoon playing golf at Nutters Crossing Golf Club is always a delight; camping at Lowes Lakeview Campground is always a perfect experience. Take a side tour to Connelly Mill Branch, and you're sure to bump into some friendly people from Salisbury here. Park Lake is a pleasant lake near Burnt Pond, and if you need a place to stay Budget Inn-Salisbury is a tremendous choice. All the water                  falling down from the sky makes Burnt Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is October.
